The blog is up and running!
Welcome all to the blog for the 2011 Boys' Brigade India team, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
The team is heading to India on 1st July 2011, flying from Dublin to Abu Dhabi and on to Chennai. We are staying in Pondicherry for the 2 weeks, and working in a village about 30kms from the city called Seyamkuppam. The village has about 350 families, the majority of whom are farm labourers.
The team will be involved in the construction of 2 houses, part of a 30 house build project Habitat is working on in the village
Please pray for the team in their travelling, settling in the area and in the work that they are doing
